Here are a few new patterns I've tested lately. They're really cute and versatile. I'm hoping to get around to making one of them in silk dupioni or taffeta one day. I'm sure Kate would be so excited if I actually make something more dressy for her. These patterns would also work GREAT for the foundation of a princess dress/costume. Click on the link to buy the pattern...

These patterns are really easy to make and great for beginner or intermediate sewing levels.

So I'm writing this short post because it has come to my attention that I need to have some pictures of my creations up. I test patterns and sew custom clothing for those who want unique clothes for their kids. I've been stopped quite a few times lately asking whether or not I had a website or blog. Well, I do, but unfortunately it hasn't been updated in quite a while. I'll be better at it now, as I've been sewing quite a bit more lately. Any of the patterns listed in previous posts can be made custom for you, or if you're a fellow sewing enthusiast I encourage you to click on those links and buy some patterns so you use up the fabric you've been hoarding and sew for your girls. Take a peek, scroll down, check out the other posts, and enjoy the eye candy. Some of the pictures that I've posted in a previous post were custom orders I made for an awesome mom who saw some clothes she wanted for her daughter. She just emailed me pictures, we found fabric together and I re-created what she had seen.

You can send leave a comment on this post if you're interested in ordering some clothing. Please leave your email address like this...  name(at)gmail(dot)com to prevent spam.

Thanks!

Here's a shout out to some fun pattern designers out there, I've been testing a few patterns and here are my creations. If you're interested in any of these items just email me and we can pick out fabric and style to make a boutique worthy outfit just for your boy or girl.

These two dresses are Faith's  Shirred Sundress Pattern by Create Kids Couture. It's cute embellished and as is. I can make any size from 6 mos to 8 yrs. Fabric is your choice.

This one is Hailey's Triple Ruffled Pants (or Capris) pattern by Create Kids Couture. I can make this in 18mos - 6 yrs size. Again, I can pick the fabric or you can pick it. If you're interested in the matching shirt I can do that too.

This last one is the Mod Twirl Dress Pattern by Monkeysbug Patterns. This dress has an off-set split in the front so the under dress fabric peeks out. I can make this dress in a size 2T-10.

It's been forever, but I've been busy sewing. Here are a few of my latest creations...some are custom and some are my own designs built upon the creativity of others.

This is a crochet lace trimmed top with crochet lace straps and shirring across the middle and ruffle back shorts. This was a custom sewing job for a girl in Texas.

Here is the back side of the ruffle back shorts - but they were a bit long on my mini-sized daughter.

Here's another custom sewing job for the same girl. It's a pressed ruffle front mini dress with a circle neck.

I still make and sell Joey Wraps, but if you're interested in custom children's' clothing shoot me an email and I can make something to suit your needs.

Joey Wrap Fabric Choices

I FINALLY HAVE PICTURES!

I have had some more orders for Joey Wraps lately, so I thought I'd post a picture of the current fabric choices that I have for others who are referred to or stumble upon this blog. I'm also waiting for 2 more fabrics to come in, which should be here at the end of November.

*Scroll down to Joey Wrap for a picture of the wrap in use.

Wrap Fabric:

Black Organic Cotton, Medieval Blue, Sage Khaki

Pocket Fabric:

Green Garden Maze, Lime Garden Maze, Linen Martini, Mustard French Wallpaper, Rust Martini

Wrap Fabric coming at the end of the month:

Celery Green, Taupe

If you're interested in ordering a wrap, please send me an email at angelafisk@gmail.com stating which wrap fabric color and which pocket fabric color you are interested in. If you have a custom color request for a fabric that is not shown, please let me know and I will see if we can get that color. We're also waiting for a heather gray or charcoal gray to become available. All wraps are 5 1/2 yards long except the Navy color which is 4 1/4 yards long. The navy would work very well for petite sizes.

More Kisses and Bow Ties and a Special Request

Introducing "bow tie clippies"! Bow ties aren't just for boys anymore. Every little girl needs a bow tie to accessorize her wardrobe.

(The ones to the left were made for Katelyn and Mackenzie's Halloween costumes. They were matching BYU cheerleaders.)

"Bow Tie clippies" are $1.50 each. If you want 2 different ribbons on a "bow tie clippie it'll be $2.00, (like the top 2 navy and white "bow ties").

Special requests are welcome.

Below I have a few pictures of some recent orders. I took a few pictures so everyone could get an idea of different colors and versions of the bows & clippies.

I received a special request for a brown and off-white bow with a little pink to match the shoes and outfit. Here's the final "playdate bow"!

Here's a special holiday "Playdate" bow I made for Katelyn. I made one for Kenzie too with reverse colors. For today though, I wanted to introduce our "Kisses Clippies" because after all, doesn't every little girl needs some kisses? The "Kisses Clippies" are made with an alligator clip and solid or patterned ribbon. There are 3 different kinds of "Kisses Clippies": solid grosgrain with rhinestones, patterned ribbon, and polka dots. We offer several different colors and these are sold individually. Each "Kisses Clippies" is $1.50. We accept special requests, please email for more information at angelafisk@gmail.com.

Here are 6 samples of our "Kisses Clippies"

We love style, and want you to know there's something for everyone. Next week we'll show you a sling that's perfect for a boy or to share with your hubby.

All slings include a pocket sewn onto the tail.
Special requests are welcome. Email me at angelafisk@gmail.com to discuss details and pricing.
